Proposed By Law Change

The board has proposed a by law change to the wording of what constitutes a quorum for a board meeting. This proposed change will be voted on at our General Membership Meeting in May. The date and time for that Meeting will be Wednesday May 6th at 7:30pm at the Algonquin Township.Building As always, we encourage everyone to attend as this is the time to voice your concerns, questions and opinions on what is happening within your HOA.

ARTICLE XXIV

BOARD OF DIRECTORS: MEETINGS

CURRENT

Section 5          
Except as hereinafter provided, at any meeting of the Board of Directors, seven (7) members shall constitute a quorum.  If no quorum is present, an adjournment may be taken to a date not fewer than seven (7) nor more than fifteen (15) days thereafter.  The Members present at such an adjourned meeting shall automatically constitute a quorum, regardless of the number present.  The President shall have the responsibility to give notice of the Adjourned Meeting to all Board Members.

Except as hereinafter provided, at any meeting of the Board of Directors, a majority of the active Board Member(Directors and Board Members) shall constitute a quorum.  If no quorum is present, an adjournment may be taken to a date not fewer than seven (7) nor more than fifteen (15) days thereafter.  The Board Members present at such an adjourned meeting shall automatically constitute a quorum, regardless of the number present.  The President shall have the responsibility to give notice of the Adjourned Meeting to all Board Members.
