With a shortage of volunteers for the “on lake” portion of this event, all anglers wishing to qualify for prizes and enter fish WILL NEED TO BRING SOME KIND OF MEASURING DEVICE FOR THE WATER. You will submit your pictures to Mike F. via text at (see email blast). You will provide a picture of you with the fish, as well as a close up of your fish against your measuring device, and text your name and what you feel the measurement is. Your catch photos will then be verified and I will post and take note of the official measurement determined after review (this may vary then what you submit based on pictures provided so see below). I will keep a post updated in real-time during the event so anglers know what size fish they are looking to beat.PLEASE SORT OUT YOUR MEASURING DEVICE BEFORE THE EVENT. This can come in the form of bump boards, fish rulers or a tape measure with large clear markings. I willIssue a “derby code” the morning of the event that can be written on your hand and included in your close up measurement picture to ensure all fish submissions are honest and from the morning’s event. PLEASE NOTE THE MORE CLEAR YOUR MEASUREMENT DEVICE AND PHOTO CAN BE, the easier it will be to certify your fish electronically. I wish everyone good luck and hope to see a lot of BIG FISH! If you have any questions let me know, if not see you at the East Beach Saturday morning.
