The General Membership Meeting for the Lake Killarney Homeowners Association will take place on Tuesday November 15th at 7:30pm at the Algonquin Township Building, Room 1. Note that the meeting had to be pushed back one week from the normal day because of Election Day.
As always, we encourage all members of the community to attend this important annual meeting to address any of their questions or concerns regarding Lake Killarney and the proposed budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
As everyone is aware, the board unanimously voted last year to hire an outside management company, Bluestone Management, to handle our finances and bring Lake Killarney HOA up to date and in good legal standing with today’s rules and regulations governing HOAs. The board has been working hard all year and our next step is to vote on adopting the Illinois Common Interest Act which I will link below for you to read ahead of the meeting if you choose.
We will also, as in years past, be discussing and voting on our 2023 budget. The attached proposed budget will look slightly different than previous years because again, it needs to be presented in the way that is legally accepted. This will all be discussed and explained thoroughly at the meeting. ***The important detail to note is that assessments are NOT slated to increase next year!**
We encourage everyone to attend this meeting if they have any questions because we have arranged to have a representative from Bluestone as well as the lawyer at this meeting present for this reason.
