Join us on January 21st at 6pm for the annual Lake Killarney Tree Burn event at the West Beach!
The tree lighting will begin promptly at 6pm and as in years past we will have chili, hot chocolate, hot dogs, ice skating, sledding, etc.
Please remember, there should be no parking on the grass, and parking is extremely limited at the beach so we recommend parking on the street and walking in.
As far as tree collection, if at all possible, it would be ideal if trees could be deposited down at the West Beach, but if this isn’t an option, we are going to do our best to collect trees the next couple of weeks on the day before garbage collection. Please remember that if you put your tree to the curb on garbage day, they will be picked up by the garbage company and will not make it to the beach for the tree burn!
For this week (and next week), garbage will be delayed by a day so please have your trees out for collection by Wednesday, December 28th (tomorrow). The following weeks leading up to the tree burn please have them out for collection on January 3rd, January 10th and January 17th.
We look forward to seeing all of our neighbors out at this wonderful winter event. It’s a great way to get outside and see everyone during the cold winter months and enjoy the company of others while staying warm and having fun!
